Spread the News was founded in the early 1980's by Jane Adam's Hull House and was a training ground for the youth of the city. The company started as a small direct mailing service and was a non-for-profit organization. Spread the News operated closely with other non-for-profit organizations and established strong business ties that are still maintained to this day.

Robert Vogel, Sr. was the driving force in the company’s rapid growth. It wasn't long before he was given the opportunity to acquire the business. By word of mouth and offering full range of services from straight direct mail to in-house artwork layout and advertising Spread the News has grown to become one of the foremost leaders in the industry. With an increasing staff  Spread the News continues to meet and exceed companies expectations.
